FOUNDER

Sandy Dorsey is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She is the owner of All About Speech, LLC, a private practice based in New York City that offers speech-language services to school aged children with speech and language disorders. For over 20 years, Sandy has provided diagnostic and therapeutic services to wide-ranging populations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Howard University and a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

Sandy’s commitment for helping children with special needs prompted her to start Smiles for Speech, Inc. (SFS) in July, 2017 so that from disadvantaged backgrounds would have access to diagnostic and therapeutic services and to serve as a resource to families and the overall community. Sandy’s goal is to help improve the lives of children in impoverished countries in a sustainable manner so that they can express themselves and live life at their full potential.

Olga Chmiela, MA, CCC-SLP
Occupational Therapy Consultant

Olga Chmiela is ​Canadian-trained Occupational Therapist currently working with the Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Center in Cleveland, Ohio.​ She earned her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. She has experience working with an array of populations and in a variety of settings including inpatient rehabilitation and working in the community with children and adults with developmental disabilities. Olga has experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Applied Intensive Behavior Intervention (IBI) with children diagnosed with Autism and other complex mental health and/or developmental challenges. Olga is eager to embark on traveling opportunities to share her creativity and skill set with organizations that share her values.
